Really quick, I'm out the door....here's a slightly abridged recording of our appearance on The Pete Kang Show on WUSB, early 1988, the first occasion we poked our head out of the mousehole as a trio. Thank you, Pete!!! Hubie & Ted are pretty funny on this one. I'm 17, and sound like it! During one of the breaks, Hubie adapted a half-written song "Unlock The Door" into "The Pete Kang Theme", something you'll hear us launch into this from time to time in later years.
We were not in the habit of doing "Above The Grass, Under The Moon". Without Ward singing it we felt almost guilty, and it only pops up on February and March 1988 rehearsal tapes, including one where we are preparing for this radio appearance.
Anyways.....I'm sure listening to this will bring the boys right back to that conference room! Enjoy! And remember to support WUSB come pledge week!
